I never really appreciated Thanksgiving until I was in college, when after months of barely tolerable school food reminding me of just how thankful I am for my mothers home cooking. Now Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, not to mention Black Friday which is a holiday dedicated purely to shopping (though I do have mixed feelings about it). Anyway I journeyed home to Boston for the break, and as heartbreaking it is away to be away from The City there is something truly comforting and relaxing about being back in my hometown.
