Still in Boston and thus most posts have been a bit limited but I went to this darling cupcake shop the other day with my boyfriend that I had to share!

I like many others have fallen into the "Cupcake Craze". On almost every block in NYC little Cupcake Cafes have been popping up like delicious dainty weeds. While this fad has quite took to the same extent in Boston there are still some high quality Cupcake Cafe's that shouldn't be over looked if you live in or frequent the city. Sweet is one of them, with two easy to find/reach locations (one in Harvard Square the other on Mass ave.) Sweet has become a local favorite. Each morning the cupcakes are baked fresh. The Sweet bakers highly believe in using 'fine' ingredients such as Callebaut chocolate, Madagascar bourbon vanilla, and Bensdorp cocoa. Awarded Boston's Best Cupcakes of 2009 by the Improper Bostonian I had to give this place a go. Both My beau and I selected three cupcakes for me, a Dark chocolate, a Blueberry Buttermilk Pancake, and a Banana Cream. They were all incredibly delicious to eat and lovely to look at however we did purchase them at the end of the day so they were a bit dry, my advice would be to get them fresh sometime around 11:00 am! Something also to indulge in are their frosting shots, and for those with four legged friends a "Pupcup" can be purchased. My boyfriend's dog Max had a field day with that one!
